To our delight, March was our first time hearing Sophia use the words "Da Da. " Til this day, I still have not heard a single lick of Ma'ma!! The amusing thing is, Simon has caught her looking directly at me as she whispers "Da Da!" It melted my heart when told me that. Too cute eh?
I remember back when I first took her into daycare. She was barely 3 months old in the Fall. I would look at the webcam daily..make it hourly ..to ensure I knew what was going on. Since she was the youngest I was afraid that she might not get enough attention. I felt scared that she might not be used to the environment and get hurt by the "Crawlers" and "Wobblers". I felt very vulnerable that I couldn't be there to protect her and give her undivided attention and love.
As time went on, the teachers have thoroughly earned my respect. I commend them for their countless hours, their efficiency, and dedication. I appreciate that they are willing to put up with new moms like me and also give me advice and coaching when asked. More importantly, I love the fact that their hearts are the right place for every baby. It shows with how happy Sophia is every time we drop her off and pick her up.
As April rolled around, Sophia started side stepping! I started being scared for the new babies. Over Spring, Sophia and her twin girlfriends have been the oldest. They've turned into the "crawlers" and NOW "wobblers" ..and what I call the mobile kiddos.... "trouble makers"! :))
Click into the gallery and enjoy. We try to let Sophia enjoy the weather as much as possible. And, we couldn't resist making her take pictures since the Texas Bluebonnets were out!!
